Attention, fine citizens of Desk-Tops. Due to lack of interest, some things around here have been changed.
If you would like to continue to be a part of the ~Desk-Tops crew, you must submit at least once per month. a very simple task for most of you. I will be periodicaly scanning the member list and gallery to see who are loyal and who are not. April is the fresh start, i expect all members to post something this month. Whoever follows through will be kept on the members list, and slackers will be noted with a warning. You get one 'strike'.
So, in general, any member who doesnt submit something within the next month or so will recieve a note. 2 weeks after the note is sent, if they still havent posted, they will have the option of having their deviations removed on account of their membership being revoked.

Skins
Application Skins are basically a face lift for a program that supports it. Programs like Winamp, StylesXP, Windows Media Player, Rainlendar, and Sysmetrix are good example. These programs all do the same functions no matter what skin they have applied to them, but you can change the superficial look of these programs by switching skins. Some programs (like WMP, and Sonique) support free form skinning, which allow any shape or style of skin to be applied to the application, because the skin has a seperate piece of code, whether it be xhtml, or something skin specific, which tells the program where the buttons are now located, and such. Other skinnable programs only allow skins in a certain form, in which you have to use the same dimensions the program allows for the image files that replace the default. Examples of this are Winamp 2, Windowblinds, Firefox, Thunderbird, and LogonXP. These skins generally have a set place for the buttons, text windows, or whatever the function of the program entails, and thus the graphics a skinner applies to the program must conform to specific areas.
Another NOTE:
'Multiple Deviations' - Limit 2 deviations per member upload. This gives deviations a chance to get recognized.
[[This does NOT mean you are only allowed to post 2 deviations after joining, it means you can only post up to 2 at once!]]
